Please!!!!! In the favour of poor teachers

Federal Government of Pakistan owns Basic Education Community Schools Project.  There are about 6500 teachers working and 200,000 children of 5-14 are enrolled in this project. About 90% of teachers are female and were getting $30 t0 40 per month. Before the 18th amendment, this project continued under the supervision of National Education Foundation. After the 18th amendment, this project was terminated by the Federal Government but the provinces were not ready to accept this project. After the protest of teachers in Islamabad in June 2011 Supreme Court of Pakistan restored this project. In June 2012, this project got the independence from NEF and it was recognized as Basic Education Community Schools Project under a new ministry. Although it is initially approved by Planning Commission of Pakistan, yet it is waiting for final approval of ECNIC. Although management staff is getting their salaries regularly yet  teachers have not been getting their salaries since July 2012. How they have to manage their both ends meet? One can imagine easily.

.
.
Where is the Problem?
Ø      Mr. Ishaq Dar finance minister of Pakistan and Chairman of ECNIC.
Ø      Mr.Ahsan Iqbal minister planning, it is his duty to get the final approval of this project from ECNIC and make them release the funds for the project.
Ø      Mr. Waqar Ahmad, secretary finance Islamabad.
Ø      Mr. Hassan Nawaz Tarar secretary planning Islamabad, he is the main obstacle in the way of release of funds.
I request you to use your influence for final approval of this project, in the favor of poor teachers.

A Suggestion to Improve the Speed of PTCL EVO Broadband

Use of internet in Pakistan is increasing day by day. Majority of youngsters are enjoying “Uploading and Downloading” by their mobile phones. In big cities, computers were connected to PTCL landlines to use internet and still a majority of users in big cities, is using landlines. However, in small cities, towns and in remote villages where landlines were not present, PTCL vwireless was a big source of internet usage. Now EVO Broadband Wireless is replacing vwireless rapidly. Although it needs an antenna to get a better signal strength, yet it is satisfactory.
Vwireless has a speed up to 230.5 kbps but EVO Broadband has a speed up to 3.1 mbps(in Hybrid mode). Although EVO Broadband is a high-speed internet device yet sometimes it seems, it is even slower than vwireless (in CDMA Mode). In the case of vwireless, we could check the speed easily through its Status but when EVO is connected, it is a little difficult for a new user to check the speed. Speed and Graph that are being displayed in the statistics of EVO Display are not fully helpful.

There are many solution of this problem but I suggest a single.  Go to Start>Control Panel>Network and Internet Connections>Network Connections>Local Area Connection.

Now click the right mouse button on the Icon.
A drop down, like this, will appear:

Disable

Status

Repair

                    Bridge connections

               Create Shortcut

Delete

  Rename

      Properties

Now, first, check the status of your connection: Status>General. If it shows the speed 3.1kbps then it is ok and your connection is working properly. However, if it shows the speed 153.6kbps then it is limited. Come out of the Local Area Connection Status window and again click the right and click on Repair, Microsoft Windows will take some actions and after finishing it will give the following message:

Windows finished repairing your connection. You can try connection again.

If the problem persists, contact the person who manages your network.

Now remove your EVO USB form the port of your computer and Refresh your computer with F5. Again, plug in the EVO with your PC and connect it and check its Status through Start>Control Panel>Network and Internet Connections>Network Connections>Local Area Connection.
I hope, it will be showing 3.1 kbps speed. If the problem persists then try again.

Google recommends the following! For details  Click Here
DNS settings are specified in the TCP/IP Properties window for the selected network connection.
Example: Changing DNS server settings on Microsoft Windows 7
  1. Go the Control Panel.
  2. Click Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center, and click Change adapter settings.
  3. Select the connection for which you want to configure Google Public DNS. For example:
    • To change the settings for an Ethernet connection, right-click Local Area Connection, and click Properties.
    • To change the settings for a wireless connection, right-click Wireless Network Connection, and click Properties.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  4. Select the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) and then click Properties.
  5. Click Advanced and select the DNS tab. If there are any DNS server IP addresses listed there, write them down for future reference, and remove them from this window.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Select Use the following DNS server addresses. If there are any IP addresses listed in the Preferred DNS server or Alternate DNS server, write them down for future reference.
  8. Replace those addresses with the IP addresses of the Google DNS servers:
    • For IPv4: 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4.
    • For IPv6: 2001:4860:4860::8888 and/or 2001:4860:4860::8844
  9. Restart the connection you selected in step 3.
  10. Test that your setup is working correctly; see Testing your new settings below.
  11. Repeat the procedure for additional network connections you want to change.
I hope this article will be helpful to you.

A Point of View

It is suggestive, after the attack on Malala, knowing the atmosphere propitious; government is going to allow the Pakistan army to accelerate an affective and resultful operation in southern Waziristan or you can suppose that the “Emperor”, sitting in Whitehouse, has sent the final message that “Presidential Elections” are imminent and if you don’t burn this fire at the moment then what’ll be the benefit to me later?
I called the Malala a symbol or a metaphor of light of knowledge. No doubt, the assailants targeted a luminary.  All logics and sockdologers in the favor of this attack are a just sophism. Nevertheless,   “Malala Imbroglio” must not be separated from abhorrent and bloody habitualness of “war on Terror” that have become our destiny. Without the identity of killers, human beings are being killed with Drone attacks, Gunship helicopters, Suicide attacks etc.
If the “drum” of this operation is beaten, effects and results will be unimaginable. After the operation, it is certainty, that the “Parliamentary Elections” in Pakistan will not be possible. Then, there are two possibilities, (1) government prolongs the duration of Parliament and Mr. Zardari is elected the president of Pakistan for the next five years, (2) an administrative government becomes our destiny for a long period, which is very beauteous for a lot of revolutionists.
The only request is that the attack on Malala should not be permissiveness for such another peepshow that pushes “The Injured Pakistan” to a new solitude of wildness.

The Daughter of Pakistan

I have not a daughter. May be it is the fact that all the girls look like my own daughters. And the Malala, who attracted the world with her solid considerations, young determinations and with bright eyes. The fairy child of Swat, on BBC Urdu website, when started to predispose the world to the circumstances of education and hurdles in the way of getting education, international media betook her and at national level, she was rewarded by different medals. For the social media she was the symbol of ambition and bravery. When I read the news of murderous attack in a newspaper, I felt a buffet on my heart.
May she live long!
All the specifiable personalities of the civilized world have condemned the attack on Malala. Everyone is praying for her life.  Evil and Satanism must be condemned everywhere but it is the time to do some thing else, it is the time of action. It is the time to clue the felons and criminals, to capture them and to punish them.  It should not be circumscribed or stinted to a few criminals. It should be against subjectiveness, which is being revealed all around us. It is the subjectiveness which wants to keep the human beings away from the light of knowledge that they may not identify the right and the wrong.  And some undiscovered powers may use them for their purpose.
Education, in true meanings, must be the source of brightness of mind. We have to change the system of swoting to pass a class or to get a degree. But before we change the system, we should glean and punish the masterminds of such attacks.

Proper Manners and Habits

You can create happiness in family by being happy yourself. We are most happy when others are happy with us. To achieve this, you need to learn proper manners and develop good habits. The way we sit, talk and listen to others indicates our manners. An attitude of respect would get expressed if we sit properly without stretching our legs and reclining, while we are with elders. Again, while conversing, one should not talk loudly nor should one interrupt when elders, are talking. It is better to keep one’s voice low. To be soft spoken is a good quality.
As we grow older, we gradually learn what is meant by proper manners and what good habits are. As you have grown older, you have taught what your parents desire you to be and also get to know what is not desired and what you should not do. For example, honesty is desired, cruelty is not. Respect of elders is very much desired and selfishness is not liked at all. Modesty is desired, while immodesty behavior is disliked.
To make your home a happy home, you must learn what is expected of you by your elders and by the younger members of the family. The sooner you learn what is expected and desired by your elders, the easier it is to please them. And when you are loving and kind to younger members in the family, you can control them better. Sometimes, you may not like what your parents ask you to do, but it better to listen to them because they always wish you well and they are much wiser. Often, what looks unpleasant is really for your good.
We all are liked and loved by members of our family. But much of the happiness of all the members of the family depends on each one’s behavior. It depends in other words, on the way we behave towards younger and elder members of the family. In most families, which are more traditional than liberal, father is the final authority. It always helps to conform to the pattern of living observed by one’s family. In a family which is liberal in its living, children, younger or older are given equal freedom to make themselves heard. In such families, also one must learn how to exercise one’s freedom in giving opinion and advice. Family living may be traditional and authoritative or modern and liberal. However, respect for elders and consideration for the young is desired by all the families whether modern or traditional. It was said earlier that our wants and needs were cared for at home. Parents do their best to provide good food, proper clothes and other needed things. But children must understand the parents’ limitations. Sometimes father’s income may not be much to obtain all that you may want and so it is important to develop an understanding about the family income and its limitations. Often, it is that the older children understand the income limitations but younger children do not. They may start crying for everything which they are not able to get. By being a good example, you can make younger brothers and sisters understand that one cannot get everything that wants.
You can also help in creating happy family living by doing your share of work in the home. Often, in homes, unhappiness results when someone refuse to share things with each other, for example, radio, telephone, magazines and may playthings can be enjoyed by all if everyone is considerate and mindful of needs of others
